Igor Osadchy Appointed General Director of Kiyzassky Open-Pit Mine
Igor Osadchy has assumed the position of General Director of Kiyzassky Open-Pit Mine. The new head has more than 20 years’ experience in senior positions in Kuzbass coal companies and replaced Ruslan Minibaev, who left the company to move to another job.
Given the difficult market conditions, the Kiyzassky Open-Pit Mine faces ambitious challenges, including increasing production volume and boosting its supply of coal to consumers. The mine is about to undergo large-scale modernization, while maintaining the highest standards of environmental and industrial safety. The company’s team of highly qualified professionals will continue working under the new head.
Igor Osadchy is 49 years old. He graduated from the Krasnoyarsk State Academy of Non-Ferrous Metals and Gold with a degree in Open-Pit Mining, and from Siberian State University with a degree in Economics and Management at Mining and Exploration Enterprises. He worked his way up from an assistant excavator driver to senior positions at coal enterprises, including director of the Raspadsky Open-Pit Mine and executive director of the Novaya Gornaya Management Company. He has been awarded the silver Miner’s Valor badge.
